When the base goes dark, the commander's phone stays up.

SONARmobile puts shore outage alerts, the installation map, and a one-tap pivot from NIPR to SIPR in the commanding officer's hand. Two-step authentication, nothing installed, nothing left on the device.

The outage takes NIPR down. The commander doesn't lose the picture.

A weather-driven outage at a shore installation can take the unclassified network with it. SONARmobile is built so the CO moves to the secure side without leaving the app, and without re-authenticating.

NIPR

Storm hits. Feeders drop. SONAR alerts fire.

The map lights the affected feeders, the CO gets the alert, and the outage list starts filling. Then the unclassified link goes with the power.

0:00 — outage detected
SIPR

One tap. ADMIN accepts. Command continues in red.

The classification menu beside the app name requests SIPR. ADMIN sees the request, accepts, and the phone switches to the secure side. Same app, same session, red theme so nobody mistakes which network they're on.

0:58 — commander on SIPR

SIPR is never granted by the phone alone. ADMIN gets an accept-or-decline prompt, the request expires if nobody answers, and the grant is dropped the moment the commander logs out or closes the app.

What's on the phone

Every tile is one tap from the home screen. It looks like a phone app because it's used like one: standing up, in a hurry, with one thumb.

Map

Satellite view of the installation with feeders, substations, and the outage footprint drawn live.

SONAR alerts

Outage notifications with a pending count, the affected assets, and who has acknowledged.

Message

Reach the operations center over the same link the alerts use, with a NIPR or SIPR pill on every message.

Drop

Send a photo, a note, or a file from the field straight into the outage record.

Guide

The field guide, in the app, for the CO who was handed the phone thirty seconds ago.

Lock and log out

Lock keeps the session and hides the screen. Log out clears the key, the session, and any SIPR grant.

How it fits together

SONARmobile is the commander's end of a three-part system. Alerts originate in the hub, access is issued and approved in ADMIN, and the phone is where decisions get made.

1

ADMIN console

Issues six-digit security keys, approves SIPR requests, and manages user accounts from a desktop. A separate master pin keeps ADMIN and the phone from sharing a credential.

2

Core hub

Shore Outage Notification, Analysis and Response. Watches installation energy infrastructure, models attacks and outages, and raises the SONAR alerts the phone receives.

SONARmobile

The commander signs in with a PASS key and a security key, sees what the hub sees, and can pivot to SIPR when the unclassified side drops.
